ITU 16th International Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress ‘23

The 16th edition of the congress, held on October 20-21-22, 2023, once again welcomed academics and professors from various European universities, specializing in fields such as neuroscience, epigenetics, cancer, evolution, gene therapy, and bioinformatics, who presented their work. The first day of the congress took place at Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center, while the following two days were held at the Boğaziçi Culture and Arts Center due to certain reasons. Over three days, more than 900 participants had the opportunity to attend presentations in their areas of interest.

ITU 15th International Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress ‘22

After a two-year break, our congress returned in person, featuring 16 expert academics from countries such as Germany, France, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Turkey. It was held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on November 11-13, 2022. The three-day event hosted over 900 participants. Academics from various countries and universities, along with participants ranging from high school to master’s level, had the opportunity to come together under the roof of the ITU Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Club.

ITU International Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress ‘21

Our congress, held online with the participation of 20 academics from countries such as the United States, Sweden, Germany, and the United Kingdom, gathered more than 400 participants. The presentations by academics became interactive through questions from the audience, enriching the event with scientific discussions.

Due to the pandemic, this congress was held online for the first time, featuring 13 academics and 300 participants. Broadcast live on YouTube, the congress created a rich scientific atmosphere with the participation of senior academics from different countries and Turkey.

The congress, which hosted 21 academics from prestigious universities like Harvard and Berkeley, along with nearly 500 participants, featured various scientific presentations and workshops. Positive feedback was received from both participants and academics.
